Join us for the first Live Like Pax: Give Cancer the Boot 5k! Run or walk, the day will also have a parade, silent auction, and more! All proceeds from our event go to the Texas (Live Like Pax) Chapter of The Cure Starts Now in honor of Paxton.
The race will start at Bob Wills Park.

Online registration closes April 22nd. Sign up by April 6 to be guaranteed your shirt size. Day-of registration opens on site at 8am.
Why We Fight
An adventurer and critter-seeker. Paxton was vibrant and fearless. He could tell the most outrageous and silly stories. He had a sneeze that could be heard for miles that made everyone around him laugh. He wanted to grow up to be a baseball coach, a scientist and a “radiation doctor” (so he could help other kids not be scared). Our whole world changed when Pax was diagnosed on May 1, 2023 with DIPG, an inoperable brain tumor. Paxton inspired an entire community with his courage and strength and unwavering faith during his battle. Now we honor him in the best way we know how- living the way he would and raising funds to find the Homerun Cure™.
