Join us on May 25th for the Turtle Trot 5K & Fun Run! Starting at Turkey Lake Tavern, come early for silent auction and stay late for drinks, raffle pulls, gift card pulls, and other activities. Come help us raise money for childhood cancer research in honor of turtle-loving ConLei! All proceeds benefit the Indiana (Courage for ConLei) Chapter of The Cure Starts Now for childhood brain cancer research.

Event Contests

Timed Contests include the following categories:

• Best Time for Male 61+ / Best Time for Female 61+
• Best Time for Male 46-60 / Best Time for Female 46-60
• Best Time for Male 31-45 / Best Time for Female 31-45
• Best Time for Male 19-30 / Best Time for Female 19-30
• Best Time for Male Under 18 / Best Time for Female Under 18

Registration

Run or walk the Timed 5K or a Fun Run/Walk and enjoy drinks, raffles, gift card pulls, and plenty of activities afterwards! First 350 finished will receive a medals.

Registration for the Timed 5K or a Fun Run/Walk can be made online or in-person the day of the event. Registrations made after April 27th are not guaranteed shirt size.

What does my registration include?
T-shirt, medal, timed 5K.

May I run with a stroller?
Yes, however we ask that you allow the competitive runners to start first.

May I run with my dog?
Yes, however we ask that you allow the competitive runners to start first.

What time does the race start?
The race starts at 10:00am.

How do I become a volunteer?
Contact Jill for shift times at [email protected]. We need help at packet pick up, although that date and location is still to be determined. We will also need help with set up/tear down, directing parking, and raffles.

Fundraise for this event

Fundraisers will be competing to raise the most money for pediatric cancer research through The Cure Starts Now. Please note, in order to join a fundraising team you must first create an individual fundraising page.

If your fundraiser reaches any of the below goals, the creator of the fundraiser will receive these prizes! Any fundraisers that reach a goal of $1,000 or more will be contacted by a staff member to discuss an additional incentive of a banner.

Fundraising prizes must be picked up the day of the event unless you sign up for virtual registration. Levels are cumulative up to one of each item for each tier raised. We reserve the right to make substitutions based on item availability. For more sweet merch to show off your support be sure to visit the merchandise tent on race day!

Why We Fight

ConLei lived every day to the fullest. She always danced like no one was watching and stopped to smell the roses. She loved fiercely, stood up for the little guy, and had a joke, smile, hug or kind word for everyone. The thing ConLei wanted most was to be able to live.
