Join us for a night of celebration as we fundraise for pediatric brain cancer research in honor of Nicole Lee and Lara Pasi. Enjoy a delicious 8 course meal with wine and beer, a silent auction, and the Unity Lion dance group.

Tickets are $150 per person. Includes dinner, access to silent auction, 2 drink tickets and 2 raffle tickets.

Dress code is cocktail or traditional Chinese New Year attire, red and gold encouraged!

Why We Fight

The Nicole's Houston Hearts of Gold Chapter of The Cure Starts Now was formed in honor and memory of Nicole Lee. Nicole was a spunky 7 year old native Texas gal, who was diagnosed with DIPG when she was 5 years old. She loved playing with her 9 year old sister Natalie, dancing, writing and drawing. Nicole wanted to be an artist, teacher and auntie when she grew up. She bravely fought her cancer for 18 months until she earned her angel wings September 2009. Learn more about Nicole.

The Houston chapter also honors Lara Dilan, daughter of Drs. Asheesh and Latika Pasi. Lara was 7 when DIPG took her from her family. She was full of energy and their ray of sunshine. She ALWAYS defended her big brothers when they were in trouble! Lara absolutely loved school and adored her teachers and friends. About The Cure Starts Now

The Cure Starts Now (501c3 Federal Non-Profit) is one of the only cancer foundations dedicated to a “homerun” cure for all cancers, starting first with one of the most deadly and difficult cancers: pediatric brain cancer. Many experts believe that the lessons we learn from fighting pediatric cancer may in fact provide us the critical first step in winning the battle against all forms of cancer, both pediatric and adult.
